Don’t know when we can finally stay away from lovely Tokyo, as this is still THE city that offers fantastic Sushi, Unagi, Soba, Fugu, Tempura, Tongatsu, and traditional Kappo-style, as well as exceptional quality of French, Italian and Spanish cuisines within 30 mins of traveling time from Ginza. Yes we are back again and tried them all during our 8th trip to Tokyo - Michelin 2009.
東京六月行,我們的2009年度米其林美食之旅,加上試吃比較多的甜點們,供參考。

As usual, we tried the following 3-starred restaurants: 我們先試了以下三顆星的餐廳:

神楽坂 石かわ Ishikawa 03-5225-0173 新宿区神楽坂5-37高村ビル 1F
Michelin 3 Stars Tabelog 3.81 (taste)
This traditional Kappo-style restaurant is found behind an old temple on the major street in Kagurazaka. We picked this restaurant because we were curious about its ability as the only 2-starred restaurant in 2008, to advance into a 3-star in 2009. The price level of its omakase course needs to be chosen when booking the table. Upon arrival, we were taken straight to a private room to start enjoying our ¥15,000 per person dinner, in which we were offered 9 different dishes. The overall dining experience was smooth with consistent outstanding hospitality provided. Although the quality of foods and taste were both above standards, there was lack of punch or surprise in Ishikawa’s cuisine as one would expect to experience in a normal 3-starred Michelin awarded restaurant. Our only memorable impression on Ishikawa was its few 3 stars looking waitresses (all dressed in kimono) including the elegant wife of the Chef-owner. In short, we would recommend the other 3-star Hamadaya for better quality of foods and impeccable service.
去原因純粹是為了好奇他們從兩星升為三星的這件事。當晚吃的是一萬五的套餐,大致上來說還不錯,但就是感覺平平的好吃,實在沒有特別令人驚艷之處,不過有特別漂亮的女將服務,倒是吃得很愉快。

Everything remains the same in this restaurant during our second visit, as the booking is still difficult, there is no change on the price for lunch (¥15,000 cash per person, for 16 kan plus Tamago), and the taste and quality are still the best. The order of sushi we had that day: Hirame (fluke), Kohada (gizzard shad), Sumiika (cuttlefish), Toro (tuna), Chu-toro, O-toro, Akakai (ark shell), Tairagai (razor clam), Kobashira (surf clam muscle), Mirugai (trough shell), Sayori (halfbeak), Kurumaebi (prawn), Aji (horse mackerel), Awabi (abalone), Uni (sea urchin), Anago (saltwater eel), and Tamago. In particular, tamago is the best we have ever tasted (it’s not available during the first visit). During the conversation, he revealed that he visited Taipei 101 early in the year and had lots of beers, and that’s all we could understand from him, unfortunately. 第二次吃還是和初次的感覺一樣的好吃,而且這次終於吃到玉子燒,光看顏色和樣子就令人口水直流,口味相當飽滿加上濃濃的香氣,非常滿足。

This Japanese restaurant is in a quiet residential area in the north of Aoyama, not far from Omotesando Hills. Although it is hidden in the basement, the interior is actually quite roomy as it has 2 private rooms, a counter with 6 seats, and a dinning area seats around 10. There are only two lunch menus available: ¥3500 (5 courses) and ¥5000 (5 courses plus a soup), and we tried both of them. Most of the dishes were fish in different styles of cooking, and the overall taste was outstanding, though a bit mature for younger generations. We reckon Esaki offers very attractive price for its quality lunch menu, and it is an ideal choice if you are touring Tokyo with elderly people.
位於表參道附近,江崎中午有兩種價格的套餐可選擇,五千元的是多了一道湯,他們的料理主要多為蔬菜,滿適合老人家或是食量小的人,口味上也有相當的變化,雖然多是菜但也可以很好吃,而且以這樣的價格和好吃的程度來講,很值得。

臼杵ふぐ 山田屋 Usuki Fugu Yamadaya 03-3499-5501 西麻布4-11-14 FLEG VIERGE地階A
Michelin 2 Stars Tabelog 4.31 (Taste)
This famous Fugu (Japanese Blowfish) restaurant, originated from Usuki in Oita Prefecture, located in a huge basement (behind a church) is rather hard to find in Nishi Azabu. We were taken to a private room to experience the very first time, the wide-caught torafugu, which are delivered daily from Oita. Instead of ordering set course, we only ordered the most popular dishes on the internet, due to previous hefty lunch and dessert. First dish was the Fugu sashimi, gorgeously displayed on a large round plate, complemented with homemade ponzu sauce. Every piece was thinly cut professionally, and taste was noticeably sweeter than the farmed fugu (we tried once at Torafugu restaurant in Shinjuku). Then the famous fugu nigiri and fried fugu, which were both very nice. The dining experience was very good, and the taste was above standards, however, the price is around ¥16,000 per person for dinner. There is not much variety within fugu cuisine, therefore, I would not revisit another similar restaurant for a long time. Please bear in mind that a set course in any quality fugu restaurants often comes with a large portion, so expect a big meal if you decided to go for a set course menu.
山田屋的河豚都是每天從大分縣送來的天然河豚,當晚我們只選了一些之前從網上看來大部份人覺得特別好吃的菜,如果胃夠大的人可以試試吃全餐,看起來相當有份量。比起以前吃過的養殖河豚,天然的毫無腥味,口感相當清甜,原本要吃的白子黃飯握壽司因為季節不對沒吃到,所以點了河豚握壽司,也很好吃,想必白子黃飯會更好吃吧,炸的奇香無比的河豚天婦羅也很優,只是稍微醎了一點,應該很適合會喝酒的人吃。

Kondo, only offers top class tempura ryouri, is relatively easy to find as it is situated in the busy Ginza district. The lunch menu starts from around ¥6,000 which include Shrimp (changeable to Uni) , Kisu (Sand Smelt/Whiting), Shirauo, and number of quality vegetables. We are able to watch the Chef-owner, closely behind the counter, as how he skillfully fried all the foods. There are two deep fried pots: the left-hand pot with higher temperature where he fries all the foods first, and the right-hand one with lower temperature is for foods that require continuing frying from the first pot. He only uses top quality sesame oil and tips out the oil from the second pot as often as three times within 90 minutes, ensuring customers are constantly receiving top quality tempura. The overall taste is excellent and for that amount of money to enjoy such a quality lunch at a Michelin 2-star awarded restaurant is definitely worth it.
近藤的午餐是六千元起跳,吃的時間總共也才一個多小時,師傅就可以換三次胡麻油,可見相當粗本,面前的吸油紙巾也是服務人員一見油就馬上換,更是讓客人吃得舒服。和以前吃的天婦羅完全不同,不油不膩,又香又酥的,而且炸的過程完全都能看見,也覺得吃的很安心。

The venue of this Edomae sushi restaurant is located in Nishi-Azabu, and it did took us a bit of time to find it. The restaurant has one private room, and 8 counter seats where you can see the Chef-owner demonstrates his skills and place all the different mouth-watering foods in front of you. The order of foods/nigiri we had that day: Tai (sea bream), Hirame (fluke), Kamatsu, Shimaaji (striped jack), Engawa (fluke belly), Kasugo (young seabream), Uni from 4 different places, Eggplant, Sumiika (cuttlefish), ShiroEbi (white shrimp), Awabi (abalone), Uni+Ikura+Rice, Suzuki (seabass), Katsuo (bonito), Toro (tuna), O-toro, Hokkigai (clam), Angago, Shrimp head, Tamago, Houzuki (gooseberry), and a beautiful dessert. All these for the price of ¥15,000 per person to experience such a large variety and quality of seafood, and nigiri for dinner. I would love to come back again but the only shortcoming is that the nearest subway station is rather far.
有點遠的”拓”,我會說算是花招比較多的握壽司店,當晚吃的是一人一萬五,不能說超級好吃,但道數、花樣相當多,覺得是滿物超所值的。

Edition Koji Shimomura 03-5549-4562 港区六本木3-1-1
Michelin 2 Stars Tabelog 4.24 (taste)
This French restaurant is conveniently located in a building right next to the exit of Roppongi-Itchome (N05) station, Namboku Line. Although the restaurant only opened a few years ago, it has already caught the attention from the Michelin judges, and was consequently awarded 2 stars in 2009. The lunch menu starts from ¥4,200 and goes all the way to ¥13,650 if you have a big appetite. We chose the ¥6,300 per person menu, which include one appetizer, fish, meat, and 3 kinds of delicious desserts. The signature dish Fried John Dory with Broccolis Puree in particular, was exceptional, however, the roasted pork was just above standards. The mixed results had us ponder on whether it is worthwhile for us to come back again?! The decision is obvious. I would love to come back to enjoy that signature dish again for the price of ¥4,200 which include one appetizer, fish, and 3 kinds of desserts.
今年才剛入榜的法式料理,有令人驚喜的菜,譬如魚,和開胃的”小漢堡”相當美味,但有幾樣對於我來說口味有點重,搭配上搶了味,甜點用了很多巧克力,不過對於很多人來說應該會覺得不錯。

Our revisit to this contemporary Spanish restaurant next to Coredo in Nihonbashi was surely a right decision. The taste was still exceptional, and all dishes were just delightful to look at. This time we tried their lunch menu, which starts from ¥5,500. To be honest, menu Ejecutiu (¥8,000) is quite sufficient for a lady, and if you have a big appetite, also a cheese lover, the menu Pont (¥15,000) is strongly recommended. The foods offered here will definitely re-educate your taste buds if you have not experienced Spanish cuisine previously. The imported Spanish pork steak, will have you confused with fine beef steak instead, is just one of the amazing example dishes. In short, we know the smell of that fine olive oil will bring us back to Sant Pau once more in the not distant future.
第二次的造訪, 西班牙現代料理Sant Pau依然令人期待,雖然午餐一定不比晚餐豐盛,但和上次一樣感到新鮮和驚喜,尾巴的小甜點,甚至比上一次做的更好,很值得一去的餐廳。

Aroma Fresca, an extremely popular contemporary Italian restaurant in Tokyo is located on the second floor of M Tower in south of Azabu. It took us three attempts (twice in 2008) to finally secure our seats in 2009, and it was made 3 months prior. It only opens for dinner and its menu starts from ¥12,000 to ¥15,000. The quality of foods and services were of high standards, and the taste was exceptional. Although Restrante Aso in Daikayama (2 Stars) is more artistic in platting the foods, Aroma Fresca on the other hand, is much superior in terms of the overall taste. Hence we are perplexed as to why it has only received 1 star two years in a row?! In short, we went in to this restaurant with great expectation, and came out with great satisfaction. We are definitely coming back again.
雖然有點遠,而且只做晚上,但是還是很受歡迎的義式料理,我們選了一萬二的套餐,每一道都很令人滿意,好吃的程度更讓我們覺得應該不只能得一顆星星吧,還會再回去的餐廳。

鮨 青木Sushi Aoki 03-3289-1044 中央区銀座6-7-4 銀座タカハシビル 2F
Michelin 1 Star Tabelog 3.80 (taste)
Sushi Aoki in Ginza, is rated quite popular in a sushi guide book. Its lunch starts from around ¥3,000 for 6 nigiri or a bowl of Tsu-ra-shi (many different types of seafood on sushi rice). The taste of nigiri is slightly above standards, but the Tsurashi is flavorsome, and it is different from the normal Tsurashi full of usual toro, ikura and uni. As for value, it works out around ¥500 per nigiri, which is quite reasonable dining in a famous sushi restaurant in Ginza, where others mostly charged around ¥700 to ¥1,000 per nigiri. Thus, Aoki may be a good option if you are looking for a quick lunch in an affordable quality sushi restaurant in Ginza.
我們點了從壽司書上看來很受歡迎的散壽司,這次不坐檯前但是也很想試試他們的握壽司,點了”梅”的握壽司組,他們的飯粒偏硬,有點大粒,長輩對於散壽司倒是很滿意,魚鬆很香,不過上面的玉子太乾了,味噌湯也有點酸,只能說不合我胃口。

This highly rated little kappo restaurant Hirosaku is quite hard to find in an ally not too far from Shinbashi JR station. As it only has 5 counter seats and a tiny private room sits 4, booking in advance is essential. The only lunch menu comes with 6 dishes including a lovely dessert. One of the dishes, the light buckwheat homemade soba (almost transparent), using mixed flours from Hokaido and Nagano, is tasty with the dipping sauce made from bonito dashi. The overall taste is of high quality and it is only ¥2,000 per head, however, the portions of the meal will not be enough if you were looking for a big lunch. At the end, I became curious as to what it could offer for dinner at what bargain price, but I dropped my jaw when the wife of the Owner-chef told me that the cost for its dinner STARTS from ¥20,000 to ¥30,000?!
中餐一人兩千,以米其林等級的餐廳來說,簡直太划算了,由一對夫妻所經營的割烹小店,雖然便宜但每一樣菜都不馬虎,都弄得滿精緻的,不過以份量來講吃不太飽,適合小食的人,或是想吃很多不同東西的人,去試試味道倒是可以。

New Michelin 1 Star (2010)
五代目 野田岩 蒲焼店Nodaiwa 03-3583-7852 東京都港区東麻布1-5-4 Tabelog 4.03
Situated not far from Tokyo Tower, this famous Unagi specialty restaurant at its 5th generation, is one of the few that still offers natural eel rather than farmed eel. Due to its limited availability which runs from June to November, it is important to clearly request for natural eel when making a reservation. Although I was aware of the earthly taste exist in natural eel, the level was quite strong for me. As a result, I did not quite like it even though it was tender and juicy. The final bill for natural eel comes at around ¥5,000 per person, as opposed to farmed eel starts around ¥3,000. Not too sure the special earthly taste would warrant such a price premium, but I guess there will be plenty of advocates that disagree. I would stick to Chikuyotei (1 star) in Ginza for now.
已經傳到第五代的鰻魚蒲燒店,吃天然鰻的話一人是五千元,不過比起之前吃的竹葉亭(他們的應該是養殖的),野田岩的天然鰻沒那麼嫩,不知道是不是天然的運動比較多?不過對於他們的醬汁我們也沒有特別喜歡,比較醎一點,而且飯粒好像特別小粒。不過鰻魚蛋捲是滿好吃的,鰻肝湯也不錯,而且吃完還可以直接去東京鐵塔,還滿方便的。

Lastly, we have tried the following famous traditional Japanese restaurants以下是其他名店:

総本家更科堀井Sarashina Horii 03-3403-3401 東京都港区元麻布3-11-4 Tabelog 3.74
This soba restaurant in Azabu with over 200 years old comes as highly recommended by many bloggers. No reservation is required, however, the place is already packed when we arrived just before 5pm. English menus are available, from which we ordered 3 types of soba: Sarashina Soba (pure thin white soba), Kawari Soba (thin yellow soba w/citrics taste), and Futouti Soba (gray thick soba made with whole buckwheat including their shells). While we are waiting, we tried the itawasa (cold fish cake) and tatami iwashi (dried bar of small sardine) which are very nice. Of all three, I would rate Futouti Soba over the other two because it has more buckwheat aroma and is much chewier. The dipping sauce can be mixed with your own preference with optional 7-taste powder, for different tasting intensity. Overall it is a must visit traditional homemade soba restaurant if you a big fan of soba. The portion of each dish, however, may not be enough to feed a hungry adult for dinner, which means you would probably need to order more different dishes, or looking for another light meal or dessert afterwards. In our case, we had another light meal and a dessert elsewhere, which is fine by us.
已經有兩百年歷史的蕎麥麵老店,經過很多格友的介紹而去。因為排在晚餐前吃,主要是想試試味道,簡單的試了他們三種麵條: 白色的細麵、柚子口味的細麵,最後是較粗且顏色較深的麵; 麵還滿Q的,特別喜歡較粗的那一款,越嚼越香。另外點了魚板和玉子燒,也都還不錯。

梅之花Umenohana 銀座並木通店 03-3538-2226Tabelog 3.44
A must visit at either this family restaurant in Ginza or Aoyama if you are a Kyo-Tofu cuisine lover. Although this is our third annual visit to Umenohana at a new different location, Ginza, we are very pleased once again with their food quality and taste.
這次去的是銀座店,和青山店相比,大概除了在銀座的服務似乎更專業以外,其他的倒沒什麼不同,就是人都非常多,喜歡豆腐料理的人如果要去,還是最好預約,否則就只能排隊慢慢等了。

平田牧場 Hirata Bokujo 03-5647-8329 六本木 MidTownTabelog 3.98
A specializing Tonkatsu (fried pork culet) restaurant, Hira-boku, is found on the B1 level of Midtown complex in Roppongi. It has always been a top favorite among all the other similar popular restaurants, such as Rengatei (Ginza), Wako, and Katsukura, in the minds of many tourists. We, of course, lovers of tonkatsu are curious of its Sanmoto pork as compare to the aforementioned 3 similar restaurants that we have been to. Prior trying it out, I would rate Momozono pork from Katsukura the best. Now I have found that Sanmoto pork is on par with Momozono pork in terms of tenderness. Surely there is difference between the two, but we are no experts in telling the fine difference. So which one is our favorite? I believe it all comes down to the preferences on sauces, for tonkastu and the shredded cabbage. Both offer beautiful subtle sauces, however, Katsukura offers fresh grounded white sesame (DIY) for that extra aromatic taste. In addition to Hiraboku tonkatsu menu, there is raw Sanmoto ham on offer. Wondering how it compares to the pricey imported Iberico ham from Spain?
炸豬排我們吃過了和幸、名代、煉瓦亭,總看了好些人說平田牧場好吃,這次總算是排進行程了,果然還不賴。

弁天山美家古寿司 総本店 Bentenyama-Miyako Zushi (再訪) 03-3844-0034 台東区浅草2-1-16
Tabelog 3.73 Shominchelin 3Stars
This is our second visit to Bentenyama-Miyako Zushi (BMZ), where it is only two streets away from the popular tourist attraction, Asakusa Temple. There is no change on the price and the menu, and the taste is much the same. However the enthusiasm conducted from the old Chef to the customers sitting behind the sushi counter existed during our first visit was not there. In other words, it felt like I was in a sushi train restaurant. Guess I have to start looking for another tasty, high rated and less popular (a bit oxymoronic) sushi restaurant for our next visit to Tokyo.

這次因為又去了淺草,所以又去了弁天家吃壽司,味道上沒什麼變化,不過可能這次吃的是晚餐,人比上次午餐的時候多滿多的,加上我們也不是點了份量非常多的套餐,所以師傅倒是很快的捏好了所有的壽司直接端來(雖然坐的是檯前),所以味道還是不錯,只是這次似乎少了點坐在檯前吃握壽司的氣氛而已。

神田志乃多壽司 Kanda Shinota Sushi 浅草松屋Tabelog 3.45
Its famous Tofu-Skin sushi is the reason we bought an assorted sushi bento on the B1 floor of Matsuya Department Store in Asakusa. It is very nice and probably the best Toku-Skin sushi I have ever tasted. The other Kanpyo-maki (gourd roll) is also quite good. I would recommend its bento to budget travelers who are looking for a quick, quality and cheaper meal alternative.
醃蘿蔔的壽司捲很好吃,豆皮壽司的甜味也很順口。

甜點篇

Finally, we have again tried out many different desserts including revisiting some of the well-known establishments. Most of them are really good, and of course, some are only mediocre, according to our own rating scale.
基本上這些我們選擇的洋、和菓子都算是好吃的,但好像大家都比較偏好甜一點的蛋糕(例如似乎滿多人都覺得Mt. Clair很好吃,但對我而言卻真的太甜),所以覺得以下的大部份菓子們應該都能滿足大家,這樣我所謂的甜度剛好的甜點,大家就能做比較準確的考量而選擇自已喜歡的甜點。

Eating in the shop 內用:
Hidemi Sugino (三,四訪)京橋3-6-17 11:00~19:00 MonClose 日本Tabelog 4.30 (Taste) 攝影—禁止
After a piece of Sugino cake is served on a table in front of an OL, she first spends a brief moment on worshiping its appearance, and slowly cut a tiny piece and put it in her mouth. As she is enjoying the first bite with eyes closed, a sigh came out of her throat praising the creation from the master chef. This is a normal scene in Sugino’s shop that you can observe from a single customer sitting next to your table performing such ceremonious acts, and also the reason why we kept going back. In total, we sampled 9 different cakes in two separate visits and I must say subjectively, Sugino is still rated number one in all the western cakes I have tried so far. Period.
目前還是我們心目中第一名的蛋糕店,對於喜歡水果的我來說,他總是把每種水果的味道詮譯的,至少讓我很喜歡,不同的味道還是可以融合的很好。

ぶどうの木 Budonoki 中央区銀座5-8-5 [月~木] 11:00~21:00(L.O.20:15) Tabelog 3.74 (Taste)
Opposite from Del Rey chocolate shop in Ginza, Budonoki of Grapestone* offers mouth-watering desserts. All seats are on the second floor and there are plenty of them, however, we had to wait for 20mins before we can get in at around 3pm. This tells you how popular this shop is. The first dessert, Crepes Suzette (¥1,260), has someone to cook and flame it on a flambé trolley in front of you, which is a bit of show and tasted nice. The Crème Brulee (¥1,155) was also outstanding, and so was the Soufflé (¥1,575). But I reckon The Soufflé in Azabu still produces the exceptional soufflé.
* Grapestone also owns other well-known shops: Ginnobudo - famous white cream Shirara (tried it two years ago, it was beautiful), Nenrinya, Tokyobanana, Kamakuragoro, Ginza-Okaki, etc.
位於Sawada那棟大樓的對面,一樓是外帶區,內用則是在二樓,下午到的時候還客滿了,等了有那麼一陣子。點了橘子可麗餅,(我想可以說)依照貫例,會在客人面前表演這一整套,表演的時候還特別把我們這桌的燈給暗了,算是滿甜的,但是和酒味配在一起卻很剛好,還會想再吃一次。這間葡萄樹是一家叫葡萄石頭的旗下一間店,其他還包括排隊總是排很長的年輪家,鎌倉五郎,東京芭娜娜,
銀葡萄等等,就是說削很大!

虎屋菓寮Toraya (再訪) 六本木 MidTown 11:00~21:00 Tabelog 3.69 (Taste)
Our second time to Toraya in Midtown was quite pleasant. Its icy cold Uji-maccha (green tea) drink is still one of the best.
宇治冰綠茶還是很好喝,這次吃了超大碗的挫冰,很滿足。

京はやしや 林屋茶園Kyo Hayashiya (再訪) 渋谷区神宮前5-52-2オーバルビルB1 11:30~23:00(月~土) Tabelog 3.69 (Taste) 黃金傳說2007日本最好吃甜點第6名
Only one minute walk from Pierre Herme in Aoyama, this popular Kyoto style dessert shop is an excellent alternative to people who have visited Omotesando/Aoyama several times and are looking for relaxing and quality Japanese style dessert.
大致上還好,不過蕨餅確實很好吃。

La Maison 丸の内店 千代田区丸の内3-4-1 新国際ビル 1F 11:00~20:00 Tabelog 4.16 (Taste)
After failing to find its shop in Aoyama couple of times, we turned our attention to the other La Maison in the new refurbished district, Marunouchi due to its popularity in Tabelog rating. As a chocoholic, I immediately acted irrationally towards such an elegant chocolate boutique shop by ordering four chocolate cakes (Delice, Bresilien, Salvador & Pleyel) not long after a full course lunch meal. Sitting in front of the granite bar style bench, appreciating the subtle taste of the cake, and enjoying the fresh coffee; what a wonderful memorable moment. Lastly I bought a macaroon (¥200) with curiosity and later tried it at the hotel. Darn. I have been kicking myself again as to why I didn’t buy more. La Maison, you just made it on my must-come-back list.

裝潢很高級,巧克力蛋糕超濃而且很多層次,但我覺得有一點甜,小圓餅還不錯,而且不會很貴。

Kinozen of Kagurazaka is a Japanese dessert shop that rated quite popular among Japanese. The sticky rice ball, so far is the best we have ever tasted in comparison to the other well-known shops such as Toraya, Kyo Hayashiya, Giontsujiri, etc.
丸子很大顆而且很Q,好吃死了。

花畑牧場HanaBatake Bokujo 港区南青山2-27-16 [平日]10:00~22:00  Tabelog 3.35 (Taste)
Only 3 minutes walk from Gaiemmae (G03) station, you will find this little cute pink color dessert shop full of young waitress serving customers. Its ice cream and milk candy are made from famous Tokachi milk in Hokaido. The ice cream with different “hot” toppings, I meant literally, each comes out of hot pot surprisingly matches perfectly with icy rich ice cream. The seasonal mango topping is quite good and not too sweet.
使用來自北海道十勝所做成的冰淇淋,奶味超濃,淋上熱熱的醬,不會很甜很好吃,而且店裡很多年輕美眉。

ピエール マルコリーニ(PIERRE MARCOLINI) (再訪) 中央区銀座5-5-8 11:00~20:00 Tabelog 4.0 (Taste)
Among the two that we tried, Pierre Marcolini’s (PM) chocolate éclair is far superior than Aoki’s green tea éclair, especially they are selling at the same price ¥600. This has became a must eat dessert for us now.
伯爵茶冰淇淋的味道比想像的還要濃很多,覆盆子雪碧也超夠味。巧克力閃電泡芙口感很有層次,很高級,非常好吃。

The Patissier Chef, Vincent has spent many years mastering his skills in France including Jean-Paul Hevin. His shop opened in 2006 near Kagurazaka is rated quite high on the Tabelog. We tried one chocolate cake and it was divine.
店主”石井敬子”是在法國的Jean-Paul Hevin修業好幾年,在06年在神樂板開了一間自已的店,在網路上名氣也很大,在紀之善吃丸子的時候就看到隔壁桌有人就提了他們的袋子。他們出名的就是巧克力蛋糕,巧克力千層派似乎也相當受歡迎。我不太喜歡巧克力,但是必須說他們的巧克力蛋糕很好吃,本來還想買一款塞了二十幾顆的櫻桃的塔,上面還灑了金泊粉,但還要吃晚餐,所以還是放棄了。

Aoki (再訪) 六本木 MidTown Tabelog 3.84
To be honest, we are quite disappointed with both its macaroon and éclair. They are not bad, but the overall taste is just mediocre when compare to the others. Don’t think we are going back again.
這次算是補吃小圓餅和閃電泡芙,和其他間比起來,只能說口味比較普通。

年輪家Nenrinya 銀座松坂屋 Tabelog 3.55
There are always heaps of people queuing for Nenrinya at Matsuzakaya Department Store. We are no exception, and tried a piece of Mount Baumkuchen. It was better than Baumkuchen from Club Harie (who also owns Taneya).
真的有比其他的年輪還好吃。

木村家Kimuraya 銀座 Tabelog 3.35
An over hundred years old bread shop specializing in wine flavored dinner roll like bread. It comes with different stuffing inside and we tried the red bean and cheese. The cheese I thought was quite good.
內餡還不錯,皮就還好,可能是因為冷了吧。

And the usual take home dessert: 福砂屋, 文明堂, たねや最中, plus many different kinds of wagashi.
