舊 Louisiana- New Orleans - 2018-10-28, 22:18
Yesterday when I was organizing my room, and I found some photos taken while I was in America, so I tried to look forthe app which could be used to transform the paper photos into digital onesbecause I thought that I would probably forget those old memories once I hadnot completed a story related to them. Hence the story
here is the one to memorize those old memories. For those who would like to
challenge English or some arguable views, please skip it, thanks.

It has been ten years approximately.since I stayed there, so the memory there for me was a bit vague, I only could memorize some of them.

The previous day when I went to State of Louisiana, I was invited to take part in a Thanksgiving Party held by the friends met when I studied in America.

Before going there, I barely know what speical this State was, especially I had received some horrible news related to how hurricane Katrina ruined it , also I heard that Black Guys and Asians were easily discriminated by white guys, but my bias soon was disappeared after I saw the hospitality of the my friends' parents were. Finally, I arrived at the destination- New Orleans, and I could not yell how beautiful the city was.

Arrived at friend's house finally, and this was the traditional American house built 40 years ago.

An old man and a boy

Food for Thanksgiving Party

Gumbo soup

The day five of my friend's siblings came back celebrate the day together, this was what I also realized how Americans cared about the faimly reunion.

The next day I was invited to French Quarter, which used to be reigned by French but purchased by America later on, and you would have such the hallucination as if you were in Europe, and for sure I immediately took some photos to memorize such the fascinating place where I would probably just pay a visit once in my life.

Personally I think it better if you state it like this:"Please forgive my posting this in English, for I am poor in typing Chinese."

Otherwise the folks here are gonna say that you are showing off your English, which is actually not that... bla bla bla...

Just my 2 cents!!!

I took 背包客棧 as the only tool to upload the stories I wrote before, and this one
is particularly written to memorize those old memories, not for English competition, but some net pals would like to say something blah blah blah.
Huh.. never mind it. Thanks for your suggestions anyway.

New Orleans is such an amazing town, definitely worths a second visit. I myself have been there thrice, am looking forward to the 4th for the Mardi Gras, hopefully in the near future.

Too bad it’s not mentioned so often on Backpackers. It would be wonderful if you can share the experience here in our own language with those who can’t pick up English so quick.

Ha ha, another 2 cents!!! Sorry!!!
