This entry ticket allows you to make the tourist visit through one of the three established circuits that start in the entrance control and converge in the Plaza de los Temples. The circuit Nº 1 is the most complete and ascends to the Casa del Guardián from where you get the classic view of the llaqta. Circuit No. 2 enters through the middle of the llaqta, while circuit No. 3 - which is the shortest - enters the llaqta through the lower part of the monument.
There are two shifts to visit the llaqta de Machupicchu. The income of the first shift is between 06:00 and 12:00 hours, while that of the second shift is between 12:00 and 16:30 hours. The corresponding shift is printed on the top of the ticket.
To enter the llaqta, the visitor must present their ticket and identity document. The length of stay is a maximum of four hours and re-entry is not allowed.
This entrance ticket allows - besides making the tourist visit in the llaqta of Machupicchu by one of the three established circuits - to accede to the alternative route of the Waynapicchu Mountain in the schedule printed in the part superior of its ticket.
The income of the first shift (200 visitors) is between 7:00 and 8:00 hours, while the income for the second shift (200 visitors) is between 10:00 and 11:00 hours.
The route starts from the entrance control to the llaqta through the circuit Nº 3 that leads directly to the entrance control to Waynapicchu Mountain. The visitor must carry their ticket, identity document and register manually in the logbook both on entry and exit.
This alternate route progressively ascends to the top of the mountain (2681 masl) from where you get an impressive view of the Machu Picchu valley and the surrounding sacred mountains. The travel time of this alternate route is approximately two hours but varies depending on the physical condition of the visitor.
The total stay time for the route of the alternate route and one of the circuits of the Machu Picchu valley is six hours. Re-entry is allowed in order to use the hygienic services that are only outside the monument.
After making the payment, the reservation system of LA DDC-C will issue a cash receipt, which in turn will be the entry ticket that will have to be printed, which represents the Fees that is fully supported and considered in the Institutional TUPA . Invoices or Ballots will not be granted for the payment made.
