Emergencies During a Trip 旅行急難

Rented 租屋

1. A: How much is the rent, and how much do I have to pay for a security deposit?
B: The rent is NT$15,000 per month, with two month’s rent as a security deposit.

2. A: The rent sounds reasonable. Does that include utilities?
B: Yes, it includes electricity and water.

3. Do I have to sign a full-year contract, or can I rent the apartment for just six months?

4. A: What if I need to move out before the lease expires?
B: If you can get someone to take over the lease, no problem.

5. Is apartment furnished or unfurnished?

6. Are there washing machines in the building, or is there a place to do laundry nearby?

7. A: How close is the apartment to the nearest MRT station?
B: It’s only a five-minute walk to the MRT, and there are a number of bus stops.

8. How convenient is the apartment to grocery stores and restaurant?

9. If anything needs to be repaired, contact a serviceman first. I’ll deduct the amount from your next month’s rent.
